Ford Excursion For Sale

A while back like 4 or 5 years ago, my family needed to buy a new vehicle, we had this pretty crappy dodge caravan and it was just falling apart and that was our family car, so while on a trip to Disneyland in L.A we were passing by a ford dealer and we need a new mode of transportation cause the van was not cutting it anymore.

So while passing thru the city we saw the ford dealer and we just wanted to see what they had on the lot, and while looking around my dad noticed this "Tank"and when he told us to come look at this tank i was confused, was it a real tank? well it turned out to be a giant 2000 Ford Excursion limited edition and it was huge,and it even turned out to be 7.3 liter diesel!! I didn't even know they made that but it had some where around 100,000 miles but that's nothing for a diesel engine, so we ended up trading the van and getting the TANK and ever since then its just been the greatest SUV of all time

I think,its spacious, safe, cheap to afford - well not anymore cause the price of diesel is going up but it gets great mileage. We kinda were only looking around at the time so buying a ford wasn't some thing we did automatically but they sold a lot of good trucks so their SUV's had to be good and they are except for their explorer.

This thing just goes and doesn't stop unless its out of fuel,you can take it where ever you want and not worry at all - its amazing and it has so much power.

We use it for long distance travels, moving things, pulling our boat and travel trailer and just about anything else you can think about it, the only down side was a year or two after buying it the transmission went bad and we ended up replacing it ourselves but it hasn't had any problems since then.

This is by far one of the greatest SUV's ever
