Used Ford F-250 For Sale

I own a 2005 Ford F250 4x4. The vehicle is the FX4 Lariat model with Ford's 6.0l diesel engine and automatic transmission. The truck has just about every option available including movable gas and brake pedals, upgraded 6-disc CD stereo system, leather interior, sliding rear cargo window, upgraded front Captain’s chairs, and dual zone climate control.
I chose the truck because it was affordable priced (compared to other 4x4 diesel trucks), because of its huge towing capacity, and because of Ford’s reputation for producing quality trucks. In researching price comparisons, we found the F-250 to be fairly priced when compared to other 4x4 half-ton trucks on the market. When including all of the options that we wanted in the truck, it was priced less than Chevy’s 2500 Silverado trucks and Dodge’s 2500 Ram trucks.
Next, we own a large center console fishing boat and had a hard time pulling the boat out of a ramp and trailering the boat with our previous gas powered full size truck. The torque provided by this 4x4 truck is phenomenal. We have never had a problem towing the boat or pulling the boat out of even the steepest or slickest ramps since we purchased this truck.
Finally, Ford’s reputation for producing quality trucks greatly influenced our decision to purchase this particular vehicle. We have owned several Ford products in the past and have found them to be very sturdy and trustworthy vehicles.
To this date, we have had no major problems with the truck, and feel that Ford has produced a very high quality product in this truck.
When I picked the truck up from the dealership, I immediately fell in love with it. The truck is very high and it makes you feel like you’re driving a real truck down the road.
The only thing that I might change about the truck is additional ride stability options. The truck is designed to be a hauler, so of course, when not hauling or towing, the ride is a bit rough (at least as compared to many cars on the market today). The tougher suspension (which allows the truck to haul and tow more payload) is rather stiff. So, if I was driving the truck without hauling or towing anything, I would likely upgrade the rear suspension to make the truck a little less “bouncy.”
