Jeep Cherokee For Sale
I have both a 1997 Jeep Cherokee and a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. They are both the greatest machines I have ever driven. Solid, axles, plenty of power, they can go anywhere. I choose Jeep due to the after market support and the ability to be fixed relatively easy. They can be very affordable. My 97 was 1000 last March. It has the 4.0l L6 engine with a 5 speed manual. It is reliable as a faithful dog.
Both jeeps have been upgraded with things that make them more useful and capable off road. The Cherokee has a 4" lift with Wrangler Rubicon wheels. It also has upgraded axles front and rear with electric locking differentials.
The Wagoneer I drive around town mostly, I think it is one of the most beautiful machines ever built. Graceful and with that woodgrain side panels, it is also an attention getter, too. It rides like a caddy all day on the highway yet it can also crawl anything you point it at! I am planning a diesel engine conversion on the Wagoneer as diesels have much better durability as well as the much improved gas mileage and torque. I use this jeep for anything around town, towing my boat, etc. They are just fun vehicles, and yes, you will become attached to them just like a pet.
