Mitsubishi Montero For Sale
I drive a 1988 2 door Mitsubishi Montero 4x4, i bought it from a relative who has had nothing but good luck with it and it seems that the Mitsubishi motor that's in it is very dependable.
I fell in love with the comfort of driving it with a standard suspension seat and the open view you have when you drive it. I can climb over most any hills i pull up to (within reason for a stock SUV) having no problems, it just inches its way over it in 4lo!
I have pulled it up to a railroad tie retaining wall and crawled right up it. Also it pulls objects around like nothhing, I pulled large dead trees to the firepit with no hesitation even in 2wd. I would like to upgrade to a 3.0 6 cylinder engine or maybe even a 4.3L v6 out of a chevrolet, also a suspension upgrade with about a 4 inch lift would be nice for a little more articulation and ground clearance. Overall it is a great machine and gets the job done!
