Chevrolet Suburban Z71

I am currently the proud owner of a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban Z71. This has been a wonderful vehicle for my family and I. I have three children, two of which are still in car seats, and my other child is a teenager. A smaller vehicle would have been impossible for us. My mother is widowed, and she usually goes everywhere with us. She is disabled and requires the use of a wheelchair and oxygen.

With my Suburban, I have plenty of room to haul everything that is required. My favorite feature of this particular vehicle, other than all the room is the fact that the second row of seats are bucket seats. That makes it so much easier for someone else to crawl to the back without having to lay seats down.

I also like the fact that I have 4 wheel drive, and so far I have never gotten stuck. Where I live, we have some pretty nasty winters, and my Suburban has always pulled through for me.

I enjoy the leather seats, as they are much easier to clean than regular upholstery, and with two toddlers on board that is a must.

I have very few complaints on my vehicle. I would like to have bigger tires, but that is definitely not a need, but a ‘want’. I would appreciate the comfort of heated seats, because it does seem to take the leather quite a while to warm up. In the back seats I would prefer some different kinds of cup holders. There are none in the back seat, and the ones in the middle row of seats are unreachable by my children when in car seats.

My children would prefer a newer model with a built in DVD player, but once again, that is not a need. I would also like to have keyless start. It would be really nice to be able to start the vehicle from inside the house so it can be all nice and warm when we enter it on those cold Kansas mornings.
